Virus classification
Group: Group IV ((+)ssRNA)
Family: None Currently Assigned
Genus: Umbravirus

The Umbravirus is a genus of a virus with no family. Virion capsids are phage-like, and hence inject their genome into a host cell while leaving its protein coat on the surface. Transmission is usually through physical breaches, or fungal invasion, since direct infection through the plants' tough outer cell wall is impossible. The genome is a circular, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA, 7400-11415 nucleotides in length[1].
